Sunday Danny Scoggins a Black Gold dog food distributor from Rock Island TN in
Valley Fertilize & Seed McMinnville TN Danny Scoggins has been in the
restaurant business for over 20 years. Now most people know him as the friendly
manager at our Captain D's. Danny has decided to branch out and concentrate
on feeding other animals, specifically dogs. He has become a distributor for
Black Gold dog food and is currently stocking stores in McMinnville, Sparta,
Cookeville, Monterey and Lascassas. Locally, Black Gold is available at Valley
Fertilize and Seed on Smithville Highway. "To some folks, having a good dog
food isn't a top priority, but to me it is," said Danny, 58, who owns six dogs
and has been a dog since he was a child. " those needs, owner since
he was a child. "This is a really good line of feed and I believe in this
product." Black Gold is headquartered in Vienna, Mo., and is distributed
throughout the United States. The company has developed 12 different blends
because it says all dogs are not created equal. Because activity level, physical
condition, age, climate, and temperature are all factors that dictate different
balances of nutrition needs, Black Gold has a product to meet each of those
needs. Black Gold markets its dog food as
being affordable, and the company says its formula is tasty and highly
digestible, which means there is less of a mess. "I've bought the feed for my
own dogs and I like it real well," said Danny. "When I asked about local
distributors, I found out there weren't any so that's how this got started."
Danny has a 34 county region that includes Middle and East Tennessee. He says
Black Gold is proudly made in the USA with no imported ingredients. For more
information, visit www.blackgolddogfood.com. As for his day job, Danny says
he has no plans to leave Captain D's. In fact, if you stop by the restaurant and
mention this article, hell give you a free meal. Well, Danny didn't actually say
that, but it's worth a try.
