 My name is Jodie Allen and I live in Tallahassee, FL with my husband and two daughters.  My youngest daughter, Mary Joe, has severe epilepsy which causes her to have 3-5 seizures a day. At this time the medications she is on are not controlling the seizures the way the doctors would like.  Because of these seizures she now wears a protective helmet at all times except when she sleeps and bathes.  It was suggested that she get a service dog that could help her and alert others when she is having a seizure. We have been looking for a company that trains seizure support service dogs for several months when we happen to find ABS Service Dogs in Orlando, Florida.  We contacted them and scheduled a time to go and see the dogs and meet the trainers in October 2010 hoping that they would have a match for our little Mary Joe.  We met some wonderful people and some amazing dogs!!  After our meeting we needed to discuss the cost to receive a trained service dog from them. Once we got the pricing information we began our fundraising efforts immediately.  With the help of the Black Gold Premium Dog Food Company and their generosity to donate 5 bags of premium dog food for a raffle, we have put together a benefit to help raise the money for Mary Joe’s Service Dog.  We are a long way from being done raising money, we need to raise the money to pay for the Service Dog, and then have money for vet expenses, medications, if needed, dog food, a special harness that will make it easy for her to handle him properly, collars, training supplies and the list goes on.  We are very thankful to the Black Gold Premium Dog Food Company for helping us achieve our goal and I know that Mary Joe and her Service Dog are thankful too.

Here is a photo of 1 of my  Walker pups. After using Black Gold For 1 month 2 days.  I used to use a xx xxx and xxxxxx mix. It just could not cut the mustard. After a friend introduced this feed to me. I tried it and after a week of using it I seen a change not only in size. But the slick shiny coat.  and more energy in my Pups in the Training. Now when anyone asks me how do you keep your hounds in perfect shape. I just say BLACKGOLD ! that's all they need to know.  I recently got a couple friends and family members using black gold with there chows and they are impressed and are still using it now for about 3 weeks. They love it.. I will tell others as well. This feed deserves all the honest good credit it gets..

ng a young English Springer Spaniel (Jack) for a client (Mike Carpinito) here at Sunnydell Shooting Grounds & Kennels in Sequim WA, and we feed Black Gold Trainers Blend exclusively here. He came to us on 4/17/09, at 14 weeks of age (born 12/30/08), and right away we recognized what an exceptional dog he was. There were a couple of United Kennel Club's "Hunting Retriever Club" competitions coming up (May 30th & 31st and June 6th & 7th), and we received permission to enter this pup in them. He competed on his 20 week "birthday" on May 30th, and passed, earning his 1st "Started Hunting Retriever" (SHR) leg. He passed the next three tries too. Hello,  I have been feeding the Black bag for several years now and love what it does for my dogs. The Country Supply store where I buy it introduced me to the Ultimate Adult and after one bag I was hooked! Wow ok thank you so much for following through and helping us get the Ultimate Adult formula.  You guys really do a great job and our dogs send hugs and kisses to all of you.  Here is a picture of our male who LOVES Black Gold food. Dear Mr Allen, I contacted you last March about your dog food. I have wolves I am feeding it too. My adult wolves and 2 dogs are happy, healthy and their coats are shiney. My female wolf just had a liter of cubs...With wolves they only have 2 to 4 cubs and the first liter rarely makes it I'm told. I wanted to let you know Cloud had 10 cubs and we. Rosita, a 2 pound, 6 week old Chihuahua, slipped through a tiny space between a gate and a fence to socialize with a 50 pound pointer named Katie. Hi,  I have used BlackGold for at least 2yrs plus,  The dogs love it ,we do alot of trail riding on horses and its nothing for my dogs to go 20 plus miles a day. There feet might be sore, but there ready to go the next day. We take them a lunch of Black Gold on the trail as well. Here's some pictures from Astoria and Clark County!!  The girls did great!!  In Astoria Kendra took 3rd in finals and Kristen took 5th in finals and in Clark County Kendra took 8th in finals and Kristen took 7th in finals.  Talked to alot of people about Black Gold and there was another banner at Clark County! So Black gold was everywhere this weekend!!  The girls are sporting their t-shirts in some of the pics, So with the water fowl festival (huge dog event for dock dogs and training trials) Aug 16 and 17 and Diamond Lake we will be done for the year. John, My two mountain cur dogs eat nothing but Black Gold. I don’t have any dealers real close, so I have to buy it in bulk in Tallapoosa, GA then bring it all the way across the state. ( I have dealers closer, but schedule my vacations to visit family) My Black Gold camouflage hat is just about wore out! I hunt my dogs at least 3 nights a week on coons and don’t feed anything but Black Gold. I have good looking, healthy dogs, that eat all their feed and I have very little cleanup. Hello, I recently changed from a well known premium food to Black Gold Kennel Blend and Puppy food for our bird dogs. I am very pleased with both, but the dogs are extremely pleased about the change! When I started mixing the food, they would always pick out the Black Gold first. Given a choice of Black Gold puppy food or the popular puppy food we were giving them, the pups go for the Black Gold. I have attached a photo I took of one of the pups, as well as a picture of the parents doing what they love to do.

When I first started using the Black Gold feed, my dogs would rake out the other dog food just to get at the Black Gold. So I really can't say enough about it. I am an avid coon hunter and the only dog food I use is Black Gold.  Whenever I could find someone who carried your product I would drive out of the way just to get it. I also try to convince other hunters to use Black Gold Food. I tell them that once they try it , that they themselves will become hooked on it just like I did.  Here is a picture of one of my pups raised on Black Gold. "Posse" is 8 months old in the picture. He is ¼ saluki and ¾ "cold blood" greyhound. We feed a variety of different kinds of working dogs here. We have cattle dogs (border collies) and hunting dogs, (hounds and greyhounds). There is no doubt that all of them have shown marked improvement in stamina, performance and drive since being fed Black Gold. In our mostly steep, hot, dry country, the improvement seen in the dogs since feeding Black Gold helps us in all we do. Everybody on this site testifies about the difference that Black Gold Premium Pet Food makes on their dogs, this is my cat Spencer Tracy, he is a  7 year old Red Tiger. He is a normal cat spends most of his time outside and doesn't like his picture taken.  Over the years I fed him lots of so called "premium" cat foods, but every year at this time he would look real ratty and his fur would be matted. This spring I started feeding him the Black Gold Blended Cat food in the yellow bag. Hi John, it's Ashley Beaver. I just wanted to give you an update on my dogs. I recently won Overall Show Champion at Saluda Coon Dog Days and the NC Spring Classic with Black Gold's Night Walker (Nigel). Nigel just turned 5 years old and was starting to show his age a bit so I bought some of the Dog Forte and started giving Nigel some right before the shows and it has made a huge difference in him. He shows more solid....seems to last longer on the bench in the heat. Here are some pictures of him winning both of the events. Photo Of Black Oak's "The Godfather" 16 months old  My daughter and I are breeder/exhibitors of German Shepherd Dogs. We were until two months ago feeding another "Premium" dog food. I am a bit anal about consistency in dog food, and two months ago noticed the other feed was just "not right." The food had a strange color, and odor. My dogs got sick after eating the food. I contacted them, and was told there had been no change in the formula. A friend also in Missouri had sick dogs from that food also. We were both told the food had been sprayed with a flavor enhancer, but was still the same formula. Well, now two months later, the company is re-calling the tainted food. We were told the food in Missouri was safe, that only the corn in North Carolina was affected. It made MY dogs sick here in Missouri.) We started reading the horror stories on line about dogs dying from eating the aflatoxin tainted food. I will NEVER go back to the other. We switched to the BlackGold 26/18 in the black bag, and the dogs are doing great. Please, please keep it consistent, and you will have customers here for life. Thank you. With a quiet patience, she taught my family the basics of the bench. Her kind, easy going way made her easy to handle and fun to hunt. Being new to the sport, my wife would take Sally on hunts and learn from her locates and tree barks. My son could take her to any show and feel confidant, no matter how many other youth were in a class. Her liquid brown eyes showed so much love for my family. Because of her looks and attitude, we decided to breed her to Mr. Gene Hicks' Thunder Mountain Eli in hopes of producing some great hounds.  Sally died on October 22, 2005 at 1:00 pm during a routine (or so we were told) c-section. She left behind 11 of the most beautiful pups you could ever want. The class of dog that Sally was proved to everyone that ever met her that she was, without question, the dog of a lifetime. Sally will be missed by all, and the hopes of having a part of her in these pups has served as a driving tool to fight for their survival. Goodbye, old friend.

Captain 2/26/94 to 7/23/05

It is with the deepest sorrow that I tell you that AA Captain Black passed away today. Captain was the son of the great Ch. AA Black Gold Mizzou, out of Belle Brown. Captain is the sire of Ch. Cedar Creek Golden Girl Deluxe (Victoria Lee), Ch. Cedar Creek American Maid (Maddy), Ch. Cedar Creek Night Moves (Copper), Cedar Creek Captain America (Sam), Cedar Creek Red Man (Jim Bob) and Ch. Winquest Sunflower, among his many lovely and loved get.

The first time I saw Captain, he was a young adult clambering out of John Allen's dog trailer. John handed him to me and said, "Janice, he's just a big PET." John was right. More than a great sire, Captain was my loved and devoted house dog, later enjoying NASCAR with his friend Dan Lefgren or helping his most loved friend, Nancy Lane, with house chores. In his retirement he slept on the sofa with his friend Flicka  and spread his affection around to every human he met.

Tina is picture here at 17 months of age winning BOS to Grand Sweepstakes in a Mastiff supported entry on her second weekend out.  I have breed, raised and shown AKC Mastiffs for over 20 years. I have over 30 years experience breeding, training, and raising dogs. Over the years, I have tried a variety of dog foods with varying degrees of success. Unless a dog can utilize what you feed him—you are wasting your money and time. The proof is what you find at the end of your lead.  Often if you have multiple breeds, one breed will not do well on the same food you feed all your dogs.

    I have bred, trained, raised, and shown  several AKC breeds which include American Foxhounds, Plott Hounds, all three varieties  of  Dachshunds, Sussex Spaniels, Basset hounds, Gordon setters, Irish setters, and  English Mastiffs.  Often I would have more than 3 brands of dog food because I could not find one brand that did well with all my dogs across the board.  My search ended when I found Black Gold.

   Mastiffs are my primary breed and the love of my life.   It takes detailed planning to breed and show a winning conformation dog.  One must use proper diet and exercise to raise and present a competitive conformation dog.  A winning dog must have a beautiful healthy appearance, the correct weight and muscle mass, be psychically fit, and have the energy to show and win.   The right dog food can make all the difference and be the secret edge of a winner. Poor nutrition can ruin a show dog and be the downfall of your breeding program.

   I am presently showing my 5th generation of Mastiff in the conformation ring. My current dogs are my 3rd generation that I have raised on Black Gold. I am a die-hard believer in your dog food and go to great lengths to buy and feed it.  Every puppy I raise and sell goes home with detailed feeding and exercise instructions and a 50# bag of Black Gold.  I always receive compliments on my dogs’ appearance and overall health.  I am always proud to inform folks about your product.

"Diesel" out of CH Tango and CH Mystique of Candyland KennelsI would just like to say that I feed and recommend Black Gold food. My dog's coats have never looked so good!! I show American Staffordshire Terriers and I can buy the expensive food at the shows all day long, but my dogs never look as good as they do on Black Gold "In the Red bag". Their coats look great and their weight is perfect. It's hard to find a food with a high amount of protein and fat along with all the omega acids I need. Black Gold did it. Thanks!  Shelly

We have raised purebred boxers for four years. The first litter our bitch had she got so thin after pupping we considered no more litters. We started to feed Black Gold to the bitch when the pups were a couple weeks old and she filled out beautifully. When the pups were 5 weeks old we tried the Black Gold (moistened with water) on the pups and by 6 weeks old they were completely weaned. We have had more litters since then and our bitches never get out of shape and the pup broker commends us on how good our pups are. I have sent pictures of our latest litter of 11 boxer pups and of one of our mated pairs. At 6 weeks these pups weighed 8lbs. My male has been on Black Gold his whole life and at one year he weighed 70lbs. I have given samples of Black Gold to friends and all have switched. Black Gold is the only food that we have found that keeps our boxer in breeding shape. Other boxers we bred with are very thin and look out of shape.
